Mist Eliminator Types
- Mesh Pads: Commonly used for general-purpose mist elimination. They are cost-effective but may have higher pressure drops and limited capacity.
- Vane Packs: Ideal for high-velocity gas streams with large liquid droplets. They offer lower pressure drops and higher capacity compared to mesh pads.
- Fiber Beds: Effective for sub-micron droplet removal, often used in applications requiring high efficiency, such as acid mist elimination.
- Cyclonic Type: Suitable for high particulate loads and large droplet sizes. They use centrifugal force to separate liquids from vapors.
